Clean-a-Card Antimicrobial Chemistry

The Clean-a-Card™ disinfecting solution is a cationic quaternary ammonium additive (quat) in an optimized ratio of isopropanol and distilled water. This is a fast-acting antimicrobial agent with broad-spectrum effectiveness. This additive works by denaturing the proteins of the bacterial or fungal cell membranes causing them to lose their structure and collapse, thereby killing it.
